About April "Plushy Diva" Hatten
As you already know, my name is April Hatten. I also use the moniker "Plushy Diva". I am from Scottdale, GA and have been a creative spirit for as long as I could remember. I have my Bachelor's in Fashion Merchandising and will hopefully be starting my Master's in Fashion Design this Fall.
On this website, you will find a link to my mini-blog, Exquisitely Plush. You will also find a gallery of my work. I must admit that all of the pieces are NOT perfect. However, this portfolio is also serving as a journey through my creative learning experience.
Exquisitely Plush is a simple Facebook page that I created to bring fashion tips, ideas, and advice to women of size without tying them to a computer in order to read a long blog post. The idea is to bring convenience and confidence to the REAL everyday woman, the woman size 12+.
Plushies Plus is the clothing and accessory line that I am hoping to have off the ground by the Summer of 2013. The line would specialize in women's clothing sizes 12+. The main specialty would be sizes 3x and over, also known as super plus sizes. I want to bring the runway to the real body without adding on the hefty price tag.
